Maybe one in ten times a freshly formatted card will become visible in the finder, but that, too goes away as the computer corrupts the card. I can format and use the Angelbird 1TB cards just fine in the camera, but I cannot get them to behave when connected to the computer at all. I'm having essentially the exact same problem, except with a Sonnet SF3-2CFST TB3 reader and RED Komodo camera. However, when the card is in the camera, I can view and playback all of my clips so I know they are there, I just can't open them on any computer. A x16 lane PCI Express 2. Both hardware products are supplied with the UltraScope software utility and driver. It's as if any CFast card I put into this camera it just bricks. The Blackmagic UltraScope hardware is a x1 lane PCI Express card and should work in any PCI Express slot in a Mac Pro. I've used multiple card readers, tried multiple computers both PC and Mac, tried formatting to OS X Extended and opening on mac, nothing works. I put the card into the camera, format it to exFAT, shoot a few clips, and when I plug it into my computer, it isn't recognized by the computer and I cannot access or view any media. This issue I'm having is with BOTH cards. Mono-Black excels at many abilities, including card draw, but almost always must pay life to access these.
